Portneuf Greenway- August 2011 

The purpose of the Portneuf Greenway Foundation is to establish and improve the Portneuf Greenway as a community resource and to encourage restoration of natural areas along the Portneuf River to enhance the quality of life for residents of Pocatello and Bannock County. Portneuf Health Care Foundation was able to work with the Portneuf Greenway Foundation by awarding them a $44,000 grant to pave the Jim Rogers and Abraszewski Trails.

JIM ROGERS TRAIL

This stretch continues where Edson Fichter leaves off.  It is right along the river and runs to Juniper Hills Golf Course.

ABRASZEWSKI TRAIL   

 The City of Pocatello acquired some land across from the Great Western Malting Plant just off Kraft Road. The City of Pocatello agreed to allow the foundation to build this trail on City property.
